The tennis tournament
Come & hit some balls, backhand, forehand, whatever hand at the Brussels Games!
Hurray, ready to launch this fabulous activity once more! We invite you to share your tennis techniques and your personality with us. The Brussels Games tennis tournament is growing bigger and better each year, so it's an occasion not to miss. The number of participants is limited to 72, so do not hesitate to register.
This year, we also decided to use a new format: Registration is on an individual level, and you will be attributed a different partner for every match. The points will be added individually. Athe the end of the day, the 'best' players, will of course be the ones having gathered the most points :-)
We'll be playing three levels of mixed doubles (with no distinction between men and women):
- C (good)
- B (very good)
- A (Excellent)
What's more: register and pay before 20 July and get a 20% discount!
The tournament day
The tournament starts at 08.30 am, allowing us to welcome you all. Matches start at 09.00 am sharp. We will do our best to allow everyone to play as much as possible (because that's what we all come for: play!).
After the finals (around 06:00 pm) there will be a short prize-giving ceremony to award the winners, followed by a ‘cool down & dress down’ session at the swimming pool together with the athletes of the other sports.
- And don’t forget to book your ticket for the superb Saturday evening Brussels Games party, the yummy brunch on Sunday morning and the guided gay & lesbian tour of Brussels (reservation required) – for you and your friends.
Participants coming from abroad can apply for hosted housing. They will be offered private accommodation with a BGS member in or around Brussels – on a first come first served basis.
