The volleyball tournament
Come & smash some balls at the Brussels Games!
Join the 40 other teams for an exciting volley-ball competition. Everybody can participate. We are open for men's and women's teams in the usual categories : A, B and C. But if you don't have a team, that's no problem. You can register individually and complete teams once in Brussels (there are always places to grab).

The tournament day
The tournament starts at 9.00 am on Saturday and ends approximately at 6.00 pm with a medal ceremony for the winners. May the best ones win!
From 06.30 pm to 7:30 pm we booked a swimming pool next door to the Volleyball venue to ‘cool down & dress down’ with all the athletes of the other sports as well. That's usually lots of fun.
- And don’t forget to book a ticket for the superb Saturday evening Brussels Games party, the yummy brunch on Sunday morning and the guided gay tour of Brussels (free, but reservation required) – for you and your friends.
Participants coming from abroad can apply for hosted housing. They will be offered private accommodation with a BGS member in or around Brussels – on a first come first served basis.

- For Volleyball, the captain of a team needs to register first and create a 'Team Name' - the rest of the team members need to select this team name in their registration. If you're an individual player, you simply select 'No Team'.
- Register online here – for 25 € /person (only 20 € if you register AND pay before 20 July) – registration is final upon receipt of payment – you can manage your registration or add additional tickets (party, brunch, tour) via this link
- This price includes participation in the sports-tournament, a bottle of water, fruits & snacks and a sandwich lunch, the cool down swimming session in the pool and a free guided gay tour of Brussels (reservation required). And hosted housing for participants from abroad.
- Check-in BY THE CAPTAIN OF EACH TEAM (and by each individual player without a team = surprise team) is required either at the Welcome Evening on Friday evening OR exceptionally BEFORE 8.45 am at the tournament venue on Saturday morning. Teams & individual players that did not check-in before 8.45 am on the tournament day cannot be guaranteed a place.
