This year, we organize only doubles games on Saturday. All levels are welcome, don’t be shy! We can accommodate up to 140 participants in doubles, spread on 12 courts.
Registrations are done individually (by team) based on your level. Doubles women and doubles men (no mixed teams): A, B+, B-, C+ and C-. Categories can be modified according to the number of players.
Kindly make sure that you register with your double partner. If you have trouble finding one, you can always send us an email and we will help you find a solution the best we can.
Note: players who have won a gold or silver medal in the last two years are asked to sign up one category higher compared to the category in which they previously won their medal. The organizers will have the right to adapt your category level, if needed.
All the players are requested to check-in/register either at the welcome party on Friday evening, or possibly BEFORE 8:45 am on Saturday directly at the tournament venue. Participants who will not have registered by 8:45 on the day of the tournament might be prevented from attending it and competing!
The day begins at 9:00 with a group warm up session with our fitness trainer.
We will play games in pools. All teams of a subgroup play against all other teams within a pool of 5 to 7 teams. This allows each team to be ensured to play a substantial minimum of matches - because ultimately, we come to play, right?
The best teams from each pool will continue the tournament through qualifying matches. If you win, you keep playing. But if you lose, you can go directly to the third half ☺
The medal ceremony is scheduled after the last finals of doubles around 18:00.
