FLINTA Participation in the Brussels Games

The Brussels Games are much more than just a sports event. We are firmly committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone, including FLINTA (Women, Lesbians, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, Asexual individuals).

Measures to Encourage FLINTA Participation

1. Discounted Registration Fees for FLINTA

   We believe sport is for everyone, without financial barriers. FLINTA participants receive a 15% discount on registration fees.

2. Reserved Spots for FLINTA

   To ensure proper representation of FLINTA, 20% of spots are reserved until 01/06. After that date, spots are open to everyone according to the waiting list and priority order.

3. Inclusive Changing Rooms and Showers: A Priority

   Respect for gender identity is essential. We provide gender-neutral changing rooms and showers. If this is not possible, reserved time slots will ensure a safer space for all.

4. FLINTA Pre-Party

   Before the closing party, a 100% FLINTA pre-party offers a safe space to relax, socialize, and get ready for an exceptional weekend.

5. Feedback and Continuous Improvement

   After the event, we collect feedback from participants to make each edition of the Brussels Games even more inclusive.

These measures ensure that every person, regardless of their gender identity or orientation, feels at home. At BGS, inclusivity is a fundamental value, and everyone deserves a space where they can truly thrive.

Outreach Program

This year, we want to increase participation of LGBT+ people from countries where it is unsafe to be themselves, where rights are violated, or where risks are high. Thanks to a special subsidy, we are able to support more applications and offer participants a weekend of tolerance and freedom. 

How to benefit from the Outreach Program: 

Register for the Brussels Games via the registration form and indicate that you would like to benefit from the Outreach Program. 

The organizers will contact you to follow up on your request. 

Spots are limited: please only apply if you genuinely need support. This program reflects our commitment to inclusivity and solidarity, enabling everyone to experience the Brussels Games, regardless of their country of origin or challenges faced.
